Programme Overview

Future CFO is a flexible nine-module development programme, written and delivered by finance leaders within a peer group format. We take you through the whole journey from the back office to the boardroom.

This is the perfect programme for anybody who aspires to become a CFO within the next five years, including those who are currently performing the number one role in startups and scaleup companies.

To become a successful CFO, we will help you focus on three key areas:

The Insightful Leader - You will transform from a senior finance professional into a valuable strategic business partner.

C-Suite Ready - You will progress from being one of the crowd in the finance function to working with the board.

Owning the Top Job - You will progress from a CFO ready candidate into an impactful CFO taking ownership of your own finance team.

Each programme participant will work through the following activities during a 12-month period:

• Rank yourself against the 45 CFO skills within The GrowCFO Competency Framework
• Complete your Future CFO Programme online training course and mark each lesson as complete
• Attend the nine Future CFO Programme Zoom workshops delivered in a peer group format
• Document your quarterly progress against your GrowCFO learning plan for at least 12 months
• This programme is free for all GrowCFO Premium members and can easily be completed alongside your significant workplace demands. You can complete the Modules in any order and at your own pace, to obtain their benefits when you need them most. The programme takes around 1-2 hours per month and we run each Module workshop six times per year.

Graduating participants will receive a signed GrowCFO certificate to showcase within your CV and LinkedIn profile. This clearly demonstrates to the market your commitment towards developing your skills and growing your network, making you the ideal candidate for your first CFO role.
